GENERAL

ART. 1 | DEFINITIONS

In these General Terms and Conditions, the following terms with the corresponding meanings are used, unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl: the user of these General Terms and Conditions, located at Kramatweg 90, 1095KD Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: 0687999905, info@247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl.
  • Client: the other party of 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl, being a natural person who does not act in the course of a business or profession, a company or institution, a client, or a party that acts on behalf of the end user or the end user of the delivered materials and/or services themselves. The term customer also includes the person who is responsible for payment and by signing work orders, invoices or order confirmations or by placing an order via digital media, agrees to these terms and conditions of delivery and bears responsibility for timely payment, even if the order is issued on behalf of third parties.

ART. 2 | APPLICABILITY

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer, quotation and agreement between 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl and a customer or client acting on behalf of a customer (or end user), insofar as one of the parties has not expressly deviated from these terms and conditions in writing.

2.2 Purchase conditions and conditions of customers or third parties are not recognized unless agreed in advance in writing and expressly accepted by 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl in writing.

ART. 3 | QUOTATIONS, ORDERS & AGREEMENTS

3.1 Quotations and validity

Quotations from 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl are without obligation, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Offers are valid for one month. Price quotations may change due to unforeseen changes in work or circumstances, such as price changes of materials, goods or services from suppliers or third parties over which 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl have no control.

3.2 Prices in offers and quotations of 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated. For extra work that is not included in the signed quotation, an additional cost applies.

3.3 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl cannot be held to its quotation or order confirmation if the customer should have understood that the quotation or order confirmation contains an obvious mistake or clerical error.

3.4 Confirmation of Assignments

Orders must be confirmed in writing by the client. If this does not happen, but the client agrees that a locksmith from 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl starts the work, the quotation is considered to have been agreed. Verbal agreements and stipulations are only binding 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl if they have been confirmed in writing.

3.5 If the Client wishes to give or has given the same assignment to others, it must inform 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl of this. If the client fails to do so and work is carried out by 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl, the client is responsible for the costs incurred.

3.6 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl reserves the right to refuse service without giving reasons.

3.7 Agreements relating to assignments, activities, services and/or ordered materials/goods are binding after a telephone appointment, unless the customer explicitly only asks for information.

3.8 When a locksmith of 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl visits a customer for installation or advice, call-out costs will be charged, unless expressly stated otherwise.

ART. 4 | LIABILITY

4.1 General Liability

247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl accepts no liability for damage during assembly of products due to the state of maintenance of the customer’s premises. For non-visible constructions of the building, 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl excludes liability for damage during assembly work.

4.2 The customer must fully inform 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl about the construction of the building or parts thereof where assembly takes place. In the event of insufficient information, the customer indemnifies 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl from liability for damage caused by incomplete information.

4.3 Material and immaterial damage

247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl accepts no liability for material or immaterial damage to property or property of third parties due to the improper functioning of materials, goods or services supplied by 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl, unless this is the result of gross negligence on the part of 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl or 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl was aware of the defect and was responsible for rectifying it.

4.4 The customer must notify 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl of malfunctioning materials or goods and provide 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl with the opportunity to make repairs or changes to avoid problems. If the customer does not do this, 247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl is indemnified against prosecution for damage or consequential damage due to defects in materials and/or goods.

4.5 Subordinates and Local Locksmiths

247slotenmakeramsterdam.nl uses subordinates for assignments. These local locksmiths are given assignments to carry out work and use their own prices. During their assignment, there is an agreement between the customer and the local locksmith. For liability, the customer must contact the local locksmith, whose details are on the invoice.

5.1 Transparency about costs is important to us. The costs for our services are listed on the home page of our website. A quote on location is also possible.
